Hi there,I am an Irish woman living in New York who left co.meath 22 years ago,my husband is Irish also,well we have decided (along with our 3 kids,aged 8,14 & 15)to move back home ,to Co.Galway.Although neither of us are from Galway originally we bought a wee house and will be living in Knocknacarra.I am very confused about the schools.Over here you have to go to the school in your district,unless you want to pay for private school.
Can anyone tell me how the schools are in that area ?,(also Barna)Primary and Secondary.Also what is the admissions process? Someone said there may be a waiting list,Whats that about?. Do you think I will have to start working on it now for September 2010,
