The National Parents & Students Leaving Cert Helpline
The Helpline is a free-phone service provided to Leaving Certificate students and their parents and guardians during the period of time when exam results and CAO offers become available. The Helpline is staffed by qualified and experienced guidance counsellors who will deliver one to one support to parents and students. The HelpLine 1800 265 165 will open: 10 am Friday 23rd until Friday 30th August.
Careers Portal
CareersPortal.ie has an online points calculator and a Mobile App which allows students to check what CAO Points they have achieved, based on their Leaving Cert results. Students also have quick and easy access to the CourseFinder+ on CareersPortal, which shows the latest available course points information and the points history for all Higher Education and CAO Courses, together with QQI links.
UL Maths Exam Provides 2nd Chance for Students
The University of Limerick (UL) offer a special entrance maths exam on 29th August 2024 (2.3pm - 5pm) for students who achieve sufficient CAO entry points and satisfy all other entrance requirements but did not achieve the requisite grade in Mathematics (Ordinary or Honours) to enter a science and engineering course.
