New Art Therapy Classes in Kildare 06/04/2011 03:44 - Special Needs / Tutors Required (Locality: Kildare) ----------------------------------- Various form of art and creative classes will now be offered in Maynooth and will provide people a chance to get involved in the new Creative Arts Centre. These classes will include resource arts and arts classes for children.
Sensory art classes will offer children and adults the space and guidance to be creative with art. The fun and upbeat classes will encourage development, assist motor coordination while promoting social interaction. The process-oriented projects will use emotion and senses to fuel and direct originality. Sensory stimulus will include music, visual aids, and art items such as feathers, sponges, glitter, play-doh, paints, and colouring pencils. These items will be used to get messy and hands on!
The teacher has worked in various schools, as well as centres such as Stewarts Hospital, and St. John of Gods. The classes will be reasonably priced and all levels of ability are welcome.
