Happy Faces Day 2012 - coming soon... 24/01/2012 22:46 - Miscellaneous ----------------------------------- I know Happy Faces Day has a lot of fans around the country so I thought we´d give you plenty of notice and information in advance this year. The event is run by the Irish Professional Photographers Association {IPPA} and raises funds for different charities simply by giving you a beautiful, individual portrait in return for a €25 donation. This year´s charity is the Jack & Jill Children´s Foundation - a great organisation which takes care of babies who have suffered brain damage, in their own homes, throughout every county in Ireland.
For now, if you go to http://www.happyfacesday.ie and leave your details, you will get an email reminder closer to the event start date of events in your county. There is a list of all the participants on the site and if you have a favourite photographer listed there you can make direct contact with them.
From mid-February onwards, all the exact dates and member event locations will be on the website, on the Facebook pages and they´ll be tweeted for followers of our twitter feed. Events take place between March 24th and April 9th - most events will be on April 1st which IS Happy Faces Day!
